How to Place a Webull Stop Loss Order on your Desktop
- Log into your Webull account and navigate to the “Trade tab”.
- Select the security you want to trade.
- Click “Advanced Order” and then choose “Stop Loss Order”.
- Enter the store price which is the price at which you want the security to be sold.
- Select the duration of the order, which can be “Day” or “GTC”.
- Review the order details and click “Submit Order” to place the Stop Loss Order.
To create a stop loss order for an open position, right-click the position within the open positions list or the chart for the stock or ETF you want to create a closing order for and select “Create Closing Order.”
How to Place a Webull Stop Loss on Your Mobile App
The process here is also similar with that on the desktop.
- Open the Webull mobile app and log in to your account.
- Tap “Trade” at the bottom of the screen and select the security you want to trade.
- Tap “Advanced Order” and then select “Stop Loss Order”.
- Enter the stop price, which is the price at which you want the security to be sold.
- Select the duration of the order, which can be “Day” or “GTC”.
- Review the order details and tap “Submit Order” to place the stop loss order.
